More and more bridges are built between the Spanish
and English languages. This is demonstrated by literature tour: “Building
Bridges - Spanish and English Language Writers”
This special tour has brought together Hispanic and
American writers in order to promote literature in Spanish in all major cities
in the USA.
Seattle, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington are some
of the cities through which this trailer of literature has already passed. It
will finish its route in the New York City.
In this cities literary meetings in independent
libraries are held and attended by many perspective young representatives of
Spanish literature – selected as such by the prestigious literary magazine Granta
– like Alberto Olmos or Andrés Barba; or the Mexican one, such as Antonio
Ortuño.
This is the beginning of a longstanding friendship
between the texts written in English and the ones in Spanish.
