BONO BUS:

One of the best options to move around in Valencia is by urban bus. One ticket costs around 1,15€, but you can buy a BONOBUS (10 trips ticket) at any kiosk or "Estanco" (Tobacco Shop) for around 5,65€.

BONO METRO:

Just the same with the subway. One trip costs 1,25€ but if you buy a bono metro (10 trips) it costs you only 6,10€. You can buy them at any metro station.

AIROPORT:

One of the best options to come from Valencia aeroport to the city is by Metro Lines 3 or 5.

Another option is by bus which is called Aerobus, one ticket costs 2,50€, and the bus stops behind the Train station, in the center of the city just 5 minutes from the School.

.

RADIO TAXI:

Buses and subways run only until 11:30 more or less (there is a small bus night service though), so to move around in Valencia at night the best choice are taxis. It's not too expensive, maybe 4-5 euros per ride, so if you take a taxi in 3 or 4 people it will cost you little. To get a taxi you only have to call them and tell them where you are, in 2 minutes a Taxi will arrive!

Radio Taxi: 963 70 33 33

Tele Taxi: 963 57 13 13

POST OFFICE:

The Valencia Central Post Office is located within 100 metres of TARONJA Spanish Language School . During the week it opens from 8:30 to 20:30, and on Saturday it opens from 9:30 to 14:00. However, you can also buy stamps in any of the city "Estancos" (Tobacco Shop). .

BANKS:

Banks open during the week from 8:30 to 14:30. It is difficult to find banks open at weekends, however some central offices work on Saturday as well. By any case, you can withdraw money from the thousands of bank cash machines around Valencia City . Almost any hotel and shop accepts the more recognized credit cards: VISA, 4B, American Express etc

.

OTHER:

Some other info to keep in mind: the electricity voltage in Valencia is 220-240V AC, 50Hz (if you come from North America you will need a converter). Another peculiarity about Valencia is that you will find cars double-parked all over the city ( too many cars too little room !!)
