Valencia Useful information

BONO BUS:
One
of the best options to move around in Valencia
is by urban bus. One ticket costs around 1,15€,
but you can buy a BONOBUS (10 trips ticket) at
any kiosk or "Estanco" (Tobacco Shop)
for around 5,65€.

BONO METRO:
Just the same with
the subway. One trip costs 1,25€ but if you
buy a bono metro (10 trips) it costs you only 6,10€. You can buy them at any metro station.

AIROPORT:
One of the best options
to come from Valencia aeroport to the city is
by Metro Lines 3 or 5.
Another option is by bus which is called Aerobus, one ticket costs 2,50€, and the
bus stops behind the Train station, in the center
of the city just 5 minutes from the School.

RADIO TAXI:
Buses and subways
run only until 11:30 more or less (there is a
small bus night service though), so to move around
in Valencia at night the best choice are taxis.
It's not too expensive, maybe 4-5 euros per ride,
so if you take a taxi in 3 or 4 people it will
cost you little. To get a taxi you only have to
call them and tell them where you are, in 2 minutes
a Taxi will arrive!

POST OFFICE:
The Valencia
Central Post Office is located within
100 metres of TARONJA Spanish Language
School . During the week it opens from
8:30 to 20:30, and on Saturday it opens from 9:30
to 14:00. However, you can also buy stamps in
any of the city "Estancos" (Tobacco Shop). .

BANKS:
Banks open during the
week from 8:30 to 14:30. It is difficult to find
banks open at weekends, however some central offices
work on Saturday as well. By any case, you can
withdraw money from the thousands of bank cash
machines around Valencia City .
Almost any hotel and shop accepts the more recognized
credit cards: VISA, 4B, American Express etc

OTHER:
Some other info to keep
in mind: the electricity voltage in Valencia
is 220-240V AC, 50Hz (if you come from
North America you will need a converter). Another
peculiarity about Valencia is
that you will find cars double-parked all over
the city ( too many cars too little room !!)
