The Valencia on film season will be showing six of the most representative films shot in Valencia, where the popular neighbourhoods of El Carmen and Benimaclet, Valencia's Plaza del Ayuntamiento square and the Hotel Astoria have been transformed into the setting for famous hit films. La Mala Educación by Pedro Almodóvar, La Gran Aventura de Mortadelo y Filemón, directed by Javier Fesser and Curse of the Pink Panther by Blake Edwards, are part of the line-up of films that will be shown at the Valencia Museum of Enlightenment and Modernity (MuVIM), from 23rd February to 3rd March.

Cinema
has become a major attraction that draws many people to visit the
places where their favourite films were shot and discover the specific
locations for each one. The case of Valencia is worth taking a closer
look at: its extraordinary landscapes and good weather conditions have
led many directors in recent years to film their work in this city,
although all the possibilities it offers as a setting have not yet been
exploited.
