I spent a fantastic week at Taronja in May 2019. The booking process was really straightforward (and I appreciated being able to sort out my accommodation through the school too) albeit a little embarrassing when recording a video of myself to have my level assessed 🙈. The booking information I received indicated that someone would be there to greet me at the accommodation upon arrival, but this wasn't the case – I didn't mind though because I'm a grown up and don't really need looking out for like that. The teachers and supporting staff were really friendly and helpful. The classes were challenging and taught entirely in Spanish, which I think is really beneficial and, for the level I was at (~B1), falling back to English shouldn't really be necessary. In the week I was there we alternated between days studying grammar (the present subjunctive) and more 'relaxing' days where we dived deeper into other topics such as ser/estar and por/para (though I would have been happier doing even more grammar studies, but maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment). I think what really stood out about my week at Taronja was the effort put into the social activities. There were things to do every evening and a weekend excursion had been organized too (but unfortunately I had to fly home that day and couldn't attend), so even if you arrive as a solo learner/traveller, you'll be able to find people to hang out with fairly quickly. In case it isn't clear, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend studying at Taronja, however I feel that attending for 1 week simply wasn't enough. Many of the people I met were staying for any amount of time from 3 weeks to 3 months. It's for this reason that I intend to return to Taronja next month for 2 weeks to try and really press on with improving my Spanish (and escape the miserable Dutch summer).

The best spanish school you can find in Valencia : Lessons are formative and never boring, The school offers a weekly and always different programme of cultural and leisure activities that are very helpful to practice the language, discover the Spanish and Valencian culture and make new friends. Teachers are competent and very friendly, they will make you feel like in a family and soon they will become your friends! Personally i stayed 3 months in this school and not only i learned spanish, but i have shared lovely moments with great people i will always remember with affection. Vamos Taronja y gracias por todo!! ❤️

I had a fantastic experience at Taronja, I was only there a week, but cannot believe how much my Spanish has improved from a very basic level. Our professors, Pablo & Teresa were wonderful, they made the classes interactive and interesting, and were excellent at making everyone feel welcome. I am already planning my next trip!

Me encanta la escuela Taronja! Learnt Spanish for one week on A1 level. If I had more time, I would have extend it for sure! It feels like you get teach by a friend! Amazing how much you can learn in just one week! I can speak basic conversations. They also organise activities every day during the week, including Saturday! I want to go back for sure!

Dear Taronja, Allow me to express my gratitude to you all. This last month has been a quiet a journey for me and I am grateful to learn and grow alongside incredible souls. A huge thank you to all my teachers and the whole team at Taronja for your dedication and commitment. To my teachers, I know I have not been the easiest student but you guys are awesome. Thank you for your patience, encouragement and guidance ( especially Nestor & Micaela 🤍 ). I am going back home more bold and I will definitely continue to work on my Spanish skills. To my fellow students, you are definitely at the right school. It was pleasant to meet some of you and enjoy your stay in Valencia. Thank you Jenny and Andres for making my classes possible. Очень понравилось! Училась 7 недель. Очень домашняя атмосфера и супер приятные люди. Консультировали по любому интересующему туриста вопросу. Проводятся ежедневные мероприятия помимо уроков(включено в стоимость обучения), это и экскурсии, и кино, и караоке, и кулинарные уроки и много чего другого!!! Удобное месторасположение - в самом центре! Обязательно вернусь в эту школу для продолжения изучения испанского. Спасибо, Taronja

Beeindruckend! Ich bin wirklich beeindruckt von dieser Sprachschule!
Sehr gut ausgebildete, sympathische, junge Lehrer, die auf unser Sprachniveau gut eingehen, geduldig und humorvoll sind und jeden im Kurs (wir sind 9 SchülerInnen) auch "zwingen", zu sprechen, ganz wesentlich für mich!
S. hat uns sogar mit seiner perfekt gespielten Gitarre ein Lied gesungen - im Text mussten wir die fehlenden Verben in der richtigen Zeit einsetzen und durften dann mit ihm nochmal gemeinsam singen - also auch einige Talente gibt es hier! 🙂
Die Lernmethode ist intensiv, anders und im richtigen Maß, um schnell Fortschritte zu machen.
Die Schule, die Korrespondenz mit ihr, die Informationen, die wir bekommen, die Organisation generell ist super strukturiert und durchorganisiert - estupendo! Noch nie in dieser Weise erlebt!
Ja, und sogar auf meine Reklamationen bezüglich meines Appartements (einige!), in dem ich hier lebe, geht man geduldig und liebevoll ein und es ändert sich auch was!
Freue mich schon auf die zweite Woche und auf weitere Lernerfolge hier!

Really enjoyed my week at this school. Teachers are very enthusiastic and the school is very social with activities. I like that the lessons switch during the week Between morning and afternoon. So not every lesson is in the morning or afternoon. Acces to the ‘virtual aula’ and more learning contents is definitely a plus. My size group was perfect, 7 people. But I also saw larger classes, which I think are too big for interactive learning
