The school is fantastic. The way of teaching is very creative! They keep your attention for the whole time you are in the class. For me it was 4 weeks, I'm 63 years old, I think 3 would have been better. You get lots of information. So the last week I was very very tired. There are nice activities and they are open for activities ask for by the students. Young and old is spread out over all the class rooms. It is very easy to get in contact with the younger people. I would like to do it again. València is the best city ever. Big, compact, beautiful atmosphere and wonderful to bike around. There are beautiful bike pads and people in cars take care of you when you are on a bike. Hasta luego!!!!

The best spanish school you can find in Valencia : Lessons are formative and never boring, The school offers a weekly and always different programme of cultural and leisure activities that are very helpful to practice the language, discover the Spanish and Valencian culture and make new friends. Teachers are competent and very friendly, they will make you feel like in a family and soon they will become your friends! Personally i stayed 3 months in this school and not only i learned spanish, but i have shared lovely moments with great people i will always remember with affection. An Amazing school to learn and live the spanish I (20 yo) was there for two weeks for an intensive course in spanish. It was amazing!! The courses are divided in two, with two different teachers. I had the opportunity to meet 4 of them which were all amazing. The school teaches through ludic activities which allows to learn how to really speak and write spanish well. Also Taronja does a lot of activities during the week and on saturdays. The activities are a great way to meet people and learn spanish culture / see amazing landscapes (Saturdays).

Taronja es la mejor escuela de español en Valencia Fue un placer y buena experiencia pasar en Taronja dos semanas inolvidables aprendiendo español con mejores profesores entre los estudiantes de todo el mundo. He elegido esta escuela porque es el Centro acreditado por el Instituto Cervantes. Tuve suerte de estar a la presentación de Taronja en Moscú y conocer a los profes y su manera de enseñar. Desde entonces tenía muchas ganas de conocer Valencia y estudiar en Taronja. No me quedé desilusionada, todo fue genial! Buena ubicación, ambiente amistoso, actividades interesantes para todos los gustos. Taronja es como una familia grande para sus alumnos, sigo en contacto con mis compañeros del grupo y algunos profes. Es una exelente posibilidad combinar los estudios con el descanso a la playa y el ocio cultural. A pesar de algunos inconvenientes del alojamiento (vivía en apartamento compartido) he estado muy contenta por mi viaje. Este año vuelvo a Valencia y Taronja.

I spent a fantastic week at Taronja in May 2019. The booking process was really straightforward (and I appreciated being able to sort out my accommodation through the school too) albeit a little embarrassing when recording a video of myself to have my level assessed 🙈. The booking information I received indicated that someone would be there to greet me at the accommodation upon arrival, but this wasn't the case – I didn't mind though because I'm a grown up and don't really need looking out for like that. The teachers and supporting staff were really friendly and helpful. The classes were challenging and taught entirely in Spanish, which I think is really beneficial and, for the level I was at (~B1), falling back to English shouldn't really be necessary. In the week I was there we alternated between days studying grammar (the present subjunctive) and more 'relaxing' days where we dived deeper into other topics such as ser/estar and por/para (though I would have been happier doing even more grammar studies, but maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment). I think what really stood out about my week at Taronja was the effort put into the social activities. There were things to do every evening and a weekend excursion had been organized too (but unfortunately I had to fly home that day and couldn't attend), so even if you arrive as a solo learner/traveller, you'll be able to find people to hang out with fairly quickly. In case it isn't clear, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend studying at Taronja, however I feel that attending for 1 week simply wasn't enough. Many of the people I met were staying for any amount of time from 3 weeks to 3 months. It's for this reason that I intend to return to Taronja next month for 2 weeks to try and really press on with improving my Spanish (and escape the miserable Dutch summer).

If you want to learn Spanish with professionals and having fun at the same time...Taronja is the place to be!!! 😉
