¿Cómo estás?

Hola a todos. ¿Cómo estás?, es una pregunta que te van a hacer muy a menudo cuando vengas a España. ¿Sabes cómo tienes que responder?

En esta lección de español te vamos a enseñar varias expresiones con las que puedes responder a esta pregunta. Seguro que dejas impresionados a tus amigos.

Los españoles usamos el verbo ESTAR para describir nuestros estado mental o físico. Por ejemplo:

  • Estoy bien, gracias.
  • Estoy mal, no me encuentro muy bien.

ATENCIÓN: no usamos el verbo SER.

Otra manera de responder a la pregunta, ¿cómo estás o cómo te encuentras?, es con el verbo reflexivo ENCONTRARSE:

  • Me encuentro bien, gracias.
  • No me encuentro bien.

En algunos casos también utilizamos el verbo TENER para expresar sensaciones físicas:

  • Tengo frío.
  • Tengo calor.
  • Tengo hambre
  • Tengo sed.

También puedes utilizar estas expresiones para decir cómo te sientes.

¿Cómo estás?, clases de español

Ahora que sabes cómo responder cuándo alguien te pregunta «¿cómo estas?«, recuerda que tienes que conjugar los verbos. Por ejemplo:

Tener mala cara -> (yo) tengo mala cara. (tu) tienes mala cara.

Expresiones con la palabra LECHE

Todos sabéis lo que significa «leche» en español, ¿pero qué otros significados puede tener en una conversación? SER LA LECHE:*La utilizamos cuando queremos expresar admiración por algo o por alguien:-Este ordenador es la leche, es el mejor que he probado nunca. *Aunque también puede significar indignación o enfado:-¡Eres la leche, siempre llegas tarde! DAR O DARSE UNA LECHE:*“Dar una leche” es dar un golpe a alguien.-Si no te estás quieto te voy a dar una leche. *“Darse una leche” es darse un golpe uno mismo por accidente.-María resbaló por la calle y se dio una leche tremenda. TENER MALA LECHE O ESTAR DE MALA LECHE*Cuando decimos que alguien “tiene mala leche” nos referimos a que tiene mal carácter o que hace las cosas con mala intención.-Antonio siempre está fastidiando a los demás, tiene muy mala leche. *En cambio, si decimos que alguien “está de mala leche” quiere decir que ese día está enfadado o de mal humor.-Hoy Pedro está de mala leche, su equipo de fútbol perdió ayer. IR A TODA LECHE*Significa ir a toda velocidad, muy rápido.-Acaba de pasar un coche de policía a toda leche, seguro que perseguían a alguien. *También significa hacer algo muy rápidamente.-Mi hermana siempre hace los deberes a toda leche, así tiene más tiempo para jugar. Bueno, esto es todo. Lo mejor para recordar estas expresiones es que las utilicéis. : )

Uso de los diminutivos en español

Todos sabéis que para utilizar el diminutivo la terminación más habitual es –ito. Y así de palabras como beso, decimos besito; o de gordo también decimos gordito. 1. En español, este diminutivo no quiere decir necesariamente que sea más bajito sino que también podemos utilizarlo para emplear un tono más cariñoso y, con las palabras que pensemos que son ofensivas, podemos suavizarlas y hacerlas menos agresivas, es deir, atenuamos: No es lo mismo decir: tu hermano es gordo a tu hermano es gordito 2. En lugar de utilizar fórmulas de cortesía: por favor, si no es molestia, etc. Podemos utilizar el diminutivo. Por ejemplo: -Por favor, ¿me traes un vaso de agua? -¿Me traes un vasito de agua? 3. También lo utilizamos para convencer o hacer más apeticible un plan a nuestros amigos: -¿Nos tomamos unas cervecitas? -Una copita y a casa… -mañana vamos a la playa y nos comemos una paellita 4. Es curioso como existen diferentes diminutivos para las diferentes zonas de España. Así la misma frase se podrá decir:             “Tu hermano es gordiño” en Galicia             “Tu hermano es gordino” en Asturias             “Tu hermano es gorduco” en Cantabria             “Tu hermano es gordillo” en Andalucía             “Tu hermano es gordico” en Aragón             “Tu hermano es gordete” en Cataluña y Valencia 5. Por último, destacamos la curiosidad en el español de México donde es común el uso de diminutivos con adverbios. Así podremos oír fórmulas como “ahorita” o “arribita” con algunos pequeños matices: “-Ahorita voy.” (en unos pocos minutos voy) “-No. Ahorita no, … ¡Ven ahora!” (es decir, inmediatamente).

Amazing summer learning Spanish with Taronja I was here for two months in summer and had a really positive experience. I actually booked only for one month but ended up extending for an extra month. The classes were fun, interesting, and I felt comfortable talking, learning, (and making mistakes), with my classmates mad teachers. You need an intital assesment of your spanish skills (quick questionnaire, and a couple of minutes speaking) and then get placed into a class for your level. However, if it is too difficult, or easy, there is no problem with changing class, and I found the staff, and the headteacher, Jenny, very friendly and easy to talk to, and always happy to help with anything.
It is easy to make friends, which is important if you are coming here on your own (like me) and there were social acitivties every night. These ranged from paella nights, language exchanges, and generally drinking and socialising. Always fun. I was here in summer which would offer a bigger social life compared to low-season/ winter etc.
The lessons are varied and you use handouts, quiz games, group tasks, videos, songs, etc, in order to learn in a varied way.
I would recommend to anyone who values a more fun and social atmosphere to learn and I definitely feel like I improved a lot. In 2 months, I went from a low A2, to a B1 level, and I had a lot of practice actually speaking the Spanish that I had learned.

The school is fantastic. The way of teaching is very creative! They keep your attention for the whole time you are in the class. For me it was 4 weeks, I'm 63 years old, I think 3 would have been better. You get lots of information. So the last week I was very very tired. There are nice activities and they are open for activities ask for by the students. Young and old is spread out over all the class rooms. It is very easy to get in contact with the younger people. I would like to do it again. València is the best city ever. Big, compact, beautiful atmosphere and wonderful to bike around. There are beautiful bike pads and people in cars take care of you when you are on a bike. Hasta luego!!!!

Excellent school that really focuses on the community element for the students. Teachers get involved in the activities, which is a cool sight to see, as you can get to know them outside the classroom. The lessons are well done also, as each teacher brings a different style. I also love the format of the schedule, in that, the time of classes swaps daily, and so does your teacher. Keeps things fresh. Lastly, Stefano is an EXCELLENT activity coordinator! He really enjoys being around the students and is professional.

Ottima scuola per studenti stranieri che vogliono imparare lo spagnolo In soggiorno a Valencia abbiamo approfittato per far svolgere un corso di 2 settimane a mia figlia che voleva approfondire il suo spagnolo. Consigliatami da amici si è rivelata una proficua esperienza. Ho parlato con gli insegnanti che fin da subito ho trovato gentili e disponibili. Mia figlia mi ha riferito che l'ambiente e il personale sono molto accoglienti. Gli insegnanti sono coinvolgenti e qualificati, oltre alla didattica partecipano alle attività organizzate della scuola. Ha avuto l'opportunità di conoscere persone da tutto il mondo e migliorare il suo spagnolo in poco tempo divertendosi. È stata un'esperienza molto positiva, infatti questa estate ci ritornerà ed io ne approfitterò per rifare un bel viaggio.
