¿Cómo estás?

Hola a todos. ¿Cómo estás?, es una pregunta que te van a hacer muy a menudo cuando vengas a España. ¿Sabes cómo tienes que responder?

En esta lección de español te vamos a enseñar varias expresiones con las que puedes responder a esta pregunta. Seguro que dejas impresionados a tus amigos.

Los españoles usamos el verbo ESTAR para describir nuestros estado mental o físico. Por ejemplo:

  • Estoy bien, gracias.
  • Estoy mal, no me encuentro muy bien.

ATENCIÓN: no usamos el verbo SER.

Otra manera de responder a la pregunta, ¿cómo estás o cómo te encuentras?, es con el verbo reflexivo ENCONTRARSE:

  • Me encuentro bien, gracias.
  • No me encuentro bien.

En algunos casos también utilizamos el verbo TENER para expresar sensaciones físicas:

  • Tengo frío.
  • Tengo calor.
  • Tengo hambre
  • Tengo sed.

También puedes utilizar estas expresiones para decir cómo te sientes.

¿Cómo estás?, clases de español

Ahora que sabes cómo responder cuándo alguien te pregunta «¿cómo estas?«, recuerda que tienes que conjugar los verbos. Por ejemplo:

Tener mala cara -> (yo) tengo mala cara. (tu) tienes mala cara.

Adjetivos que cambian de significado

En español hay algunos adjetivos que cambian su significado si acompañan al verbo SER o al verbo ESTAR. ¿Quieres aprender algunos? -LISTO: Ser listo = inteligente (clever) Estar listo = preparado (ready) -FRESCO: Ser fresco = sin vergüenza (shameless) Estar fresco = del día (fresh) -MALO: Ser malo = malvado (evil) Estar malo = enfermo (ill) -BUENO: Ser bueno = portarse bien (to be nice) Estar bueno = ser atractivo (to be hot)

And that’s what the teachers carry out too: such passion and enthusiasm. But the learning doesn’t stop as soon as class comes to an end. Taronja organises plenty of very fun, optional activities. In the afternoon, evening and even in the weekends. No chance to get bored here… I’m going to stay longer!

A friendly school with great teachers and nice facilities. I was only there for a week but my confidence in speaking improved significantly. I came on my own but it was so easy to make friends through all the social activities and I loved meeting people from all over the world from ages 19-70. I've been visiting Taronja for years working on my spanish. The staff and the teachers are fantastic!. I would highly recommend this language school, with its competent teachers who are innovative and interested in their students. The material used is always of an excellent standard. The school has two bright buildings and there is a calendar of events each week both for students attending and those taking classes online.

I took classes at Taronja for three weeks in October and can highly recommend the school. I cannot imagine there being a better school. I scouted for months before making the decision and was so glad I had chosen Taronja. There are several points which make it such a good school. - the highly motivated and friendly teachers - there effort at getting everyone to speak Spanish only, which of course speeds up your acqusition of the language - the extracurricular activities are not only interesting, but help increase your language skills and keep you busy (if you are alone, it's nice to have something to keep you active especially the first week when you don't know your way around yet) I will definitely take more classes here. I recommend saving yourself all the time needed for researching the internet. You have made the right decision with Taronja! My greetings to everyone there. Linda

Excellent school that really focuses on the community element for the students. Teachers get involved in the activities, which is a cool sight to see, as you can get to know them outside the classroom. The lessons are well done also, as each teacher brings a different style. I also love the format of the schedule, in that, the time of classes swaps daily, and so does your teacher. Keeps things fresh. Lastly, Stefano is an EXCELLENT activity coordinator! He really enjoys being around the students and is professional.
