I am a retired language teacher (at high school and university level ) and as such I feel I can offer a qualified opinion on the teaching method of the Taronja staff. I am pleased to give it 5 stars. All lessons were well prepared, engaging and fun. All staff members were supportive yet challenging. I was pleasantly surprised not to feel my age as a handicap among students largely much younger than me. I had fun with them and met many other older students as well. As to the activities offered by the school, there were so many of them that you could pick and choose. My husband (studying at a different level than mine) and I, did exactly that. We didn't go to all but enjoyed what we had chosen. We enjoyed the cooking class, the songs, the movies, the Saturday excursion. I saw a critic among the reviews concerning a bull fight and I thought that was totally out of line. If you disagree with an offered activity that is part of the culture you are supposedly trying to learn about, just don't go. But don't blame the school for offering other people with different values than yours a chance to experience that activity! Anyway, we had such a good experience that we are seriously thinking about going back to study in Taronja next spring for a couple of weeks at least. Well done Taronja staff, the whole team, teachers, office staff, organizers. We loved the school, we adored Valencia. We will be back. Thank you all so much!

diese Schule ist unglaublich vielseitig! Ich war für vier Wochen in Taronja zum Spanisch lernen. Und für mich war die Zeit in der Schule perfekt. Ich habe schnell und viel gelernt, die Lehrer sind offen, kompetent, hilfsbereit und haben Freude am Tun. Was die Schule für mich besonders gemacht hat, ist, dass sie einem Spanisch bei bringen, aber darüber hinaus auch viele Angebote zu Kultur und Leben stattfinden. Und ich hatte immer das Gefühl mit offenen Armen empfangen zu werden! Der perfekte Ort für einen Sprachurlaub.

Wonderful experience I attended the intensive course for 2 weeks with my girlfriend, it was an amazing experience! The school offers Spanish courses with great teachers and a lot of different activities (every day) to meet people from all over the world and do mucha fiesta!!

4 weken Spaans cursus bij Taronja De Taronja school is een leuk, kleurrijk gebouw, gelegen in het centrum van Valencia. De lessen zijn interessant en productief en de leraren zijn behulpzaam en wat me opviel, erg jong. De lesmethode die Taronja gebruikt beviel me zeer en is voor mij een van de redenen om binnenkort terug te gaan. De activiteiten die elke week gepland worden rondom de lessen zorgen ervoor dat je meer te weten komt over de Spaanse cultuur en helpen mee aan je ontwikkeling in de Spaanse taal. Na vier weken 20 uur per week les te hebben gehad en aan een groot deel van de activiteiten deel genomen te hebben heb ik een zekere basis Spaans opgebouwd en heeft me alleen maar gemotiveerd om er beter in te worden. De accommodaties die de school aanbiedt zijn centraal gelegen en op loopafstand van de school en omringd door genoeg restaurants om je 's avonds te redden. Taronja wil ik zeker aanraden aan iedereen die niet alleen Spaans wil leren maar daarnaast een geweldige tijd wil beleven in Valencia.

Оно того стоит Были каникулы в университете, и решила на недельку поехать в Испанию,заодно и испанский получить. Очень классный опыт, даже за неделю я почувствовала, как мой испанский с почти нуля дотянули до основ. Очень вдохновляющие, разные совершенно люди из разных стран были в классах и на мероприятиях, много классных знакомств случилось. Если хотите много практиковать испанский, то вперёд. Ещё в семью заселитесь - не будете говорить ни на русском ни английском вообще. Я общалась с хост мамой с помощью переводчика на телефоне
Учителя преподают не скучно. Мероприятия не дают сидеть дома.
Единственный минус то, что иногда учишься по вечерам, мне было очень тяжело.
И, конечно, самое грустное - уехать после одной недели. Кто-то приезжает на 3 месяца, кто-то на 6,кто-то переехал совсем. А ты погружаешься в эту атмосферу и уезжаешь через неделю. 🙁

If I can learn Spanish then anyone can! In a space of 6 weeks I went from saying "sin comentarios" in class to speaking short sentences with lovely regular, irregular and reflexive verbs ?. Teachers and administration staff are professional, friendly and supportive. I am going to miss my "chitty chats" with the Reception desk ?

I had such an amazing time learning spanish at Taronja! I learned a new language but I also learned lots of tricks and methods to be a better language teacher myself. Muchas gracias!!! The teachers like Aitana, Esther, and Nestor were so fun and made the experience enjoyable. They were understanding and patient.

Learning Spanish in taronja was one of the best decisions of my life. I met a lot of great people and made new friends from different countries. I had the curso intensivo and conversation. This allowed me to improve my spanish considerably. We also had interesting activities every day. There was also plenty of nightlife. I can only recommend taronja to anyone who wants to improve their spanish skills and simply have an unforgettable time! Thank you very much !
