En esta lección de español, os queremos explicar las diferencias entre dos verbos: fiarse y confiar. ¿Quieres aprenderla?

ATENCIÓN: uno es un verbo reflexivo (FIARSE DE) y el otro no (CONFIAR EN)

CONFIAR EN: Lo usamos para hablar de situaciones, cosas o personas. Tener confianza en alguien o algo.  

-Pepe, quiero que seas el director de la empresa. Llevas aquí mucho tiempo y confío en que lo harás muy bien.
-Muchas gracias. Sé que confías en mí, pero no puedo aceptarlo. Es mucha responsabilidad.

FIARSE DE:  Lo usamos para hablar de personas y es más concreto. Depositar la confianza en alguien por sus cualidades, habilidades o promesas. Aquí es sinónimo de confiar.


-¡Madre mía! ¡He olvidado la cartera! Qué vergüenza. ¿Puedo pagarte mañana? ¿Te fías de mí?
-Pablo, eres nuestro mejor cliente, ¡claro que me fio de ti! Me lo puedes pagar otro día

Diferencias entre «ser» y «estar»: domina estos verbos Hoy nos embarcamos en una aventura lingüística para desentrañar los misterios de dos verbos españoles que a menudo desconciertan a los estudiantes: ‘ser’ y ‘estar’. Estos verbos, que en inglés se traducen como ‘to be’, son el dúo carismático de la lengua española. Pero no te preocupes. Estamos aquí para descifrar sus diferencias y usos, y añadir algunos ejercicios y pruebas divertidos para que tu viaje de aprendizaje sea tan agradable como un paseo por las vibrantes calles de Valencia. 1.Entiende el uso de ‘Ser’ «Ser» es como los cimientos de un edificio: se utiliza para describir atributos permanentes o duraderos. Es el verbo que trata de la esencia de las cosas. Aquí es donde se utiliza «ser»: 2. Entiende el uso de ‘Estar’ «Estar», en cambio, es el verbo del cambio y la condición. Es como los colores cambiantes del cielo a lo largo del día. Utiliza ‘estar’ para: 3. Ser vs. Estar: La confusión se aclara A veces, elegir entre «ser» y «estar» puede cambiar por completo el significado de una frase. Por ejemplo: 4. Consejos para dominarlo Conclusión Dominar las diferencias entre «ser» y «estar» es como aprender a bailar: requiere práctica, pero una vez que lo consigas, fluirás con el ritmo de la lengua española sin esfuerzo. Sigue practicando, mantén la curiosidad y, lo más importante, ¡diviértete! ¡Hasta luego! Ejercicios prácticos 1. Rellena los huecos ¡Es tu turno! Rellena los espacios en blanco con la forma correcta de los verbos SER o ESTAR. 2. Rellena los huecos Completemos las siguientes frases con las formas de SER o ESTAR en pretérito perfecto, pretérito indefinido o pretérito imperfecto. 3. Agrupar por importancia Agrupa los siguientes atributos en «ser» o «estar».

It‘s my second week at Taronja Spanish School and I absolutely love it. The teachers and students are all very likeable and it’s easy to get to know new people. The classes are great because the focus is on the speaking but they still teach grammar just in a more interesting way. Also the activities are awesome. They are all different so everyone finds something they like. All students are in a good mood and enjoying Valencia.

I spent a fantastic week at Taronja in May 2019. The booking process was really straightforward (and I appreciated being able to sort out my accommodation through the school too) albeit a little embarrassing when recording a video of myself to have my level assessed 🙈. The booking information I received indicated that someone would be there to greet me at the accommodation upon arrival, but this wasn't the case – I didn't mind though because I'm a grown up and don't really need looking out for like that. The teachers and supporting staff were really friendly and helpful. The classes were challenging and taught entirely in Spanish, which I think is really beneficial and, for the level I was at (~B1), falling back to English shouldn't really be necessary. In the week I was there we alternated between days studying grammar (the present subjunctive) and more 'relaxing' days where we dived deeper into other topics such as ser/estar and por/para (though I would have been happier doing even more grammar studies, but maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment). I think what really stood out about my week at Taronja was the effort put into the social activities. There were things to do every evening and a weekend excursion had been organized too (but unfortunately I had to fly home that day and couldn't attend), so even if you arrive as a solo learner/traveller, you'll be able to find people to hang out with fairly quickly. In case it isn't clear, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend studying at Taronja, however I feel that attending for 1 week simply wasn't enough. Many of the people I met were staying for any amount of time from 3 weeks to 3 months. It's for this reason that I intend to return to Taronja next month for 2 weeks to try and really press on with improving my Spanish (and escape the miserable Dutch summer).

Learning Spanish, Culture, and so much more I spent one week at Taronja School, studying A1 Spanish and would go back in a heartbeat💕. The small classes were very engaging, and teachers were enthusiastic and caring. Taronja is much more than classes though, every night they had engaging activities where you could practice Spanish with fellow classmates and explore new places all over Valencia, and beyond with the teachers and ambassadors of the school. I had so much fun and met the most wonderful people from all over the world. I am in my 50s which I think is significant because they truly treated every person like family and had a group Buena Vida for people over 27 😂 to connect and be able to do things together. I'm really looking forward to going back In the future. They also have housing at a reasonable rate if you're staying for a longer period of time . Thank you Taronja☀️💐🎉

Taronja Ich habe im September einen vierwöchigen Sprachaufenthalt in Valencia an der Taronja Sprachschule verbracht. Es war nicht mein erster Besuch an einer Sprachschule und ich muss wirklich zugeben, dass es vom Lernniveau bisher die beste war. Die Lehrer sind alle studierte Sprachwissenschaftlicher, aber trotzdem nicht älter als 35, sprechen meistens mehr als 3-4 Sprachen fliesend, setzen sich aktiv mit den Schülern auseinander und das innerhalb sowie außerhalb der Stunden. Die nicht nach einem Buch oder Lehrplan ausgerichtete Lernmethode ist wirklich unfassbar effektiv und man macht innerhalb kürzester Zeit erhebliche Fortschritte.
Auch außerhalb der Schulstunden probiert die Schule das Rundumsorglospaket zu ermöglichen, jeden Tag andere Aktivitäten, kulturell sowie interaktiv und damit meine ich nicht dieses typische get-together in einer Bar und fertig, sondern wirklich coole Aktivitäten zu unschlagbar günstigen Preisen.
Insgesamt kann ich nur jedem empfehlen sich für diese Schule zu entscheiden.

Amazing school that is well managed and organized. Teachers are well prepared and engaged. School is also organizing extracurricular activities which are either educational or fun and I enjoyed both types. I had also opportunity to stay in one of the school shared flats. They are simple but clean and perfect for the time of stay. I highly recommend! If I could, I would definitely stay at school for a few months. I hope to be back at some point and do another course.

Super week learning new language, remembering forgotten fragments and updating old phrases. The course was really well structured and delivered and great fun. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The Spanish cooking and singing sessions were the icing on the cake and the sun shone on the beautiful city of Valencia every day.
