Cuando + indicativo, cuando + subjuntivo

En esta lección de español os queremos explicar las diferencias entre las estructuras «cuando + indicativo» y «cuando + subjuntivo».

1. usamos CUANDO + INDICATIVE para hablar de una acción o rutina que no es en el futuro.

Por ejemplo:

Cuando toco la guitarra, soy feliz / Cuando iba a la escuela, veía a mis amigos.

2. Usamos CUANDO + SUBJUNTIVO para hablar de acciones en el futuro:

Por ejemplo:

Cuando tenga dinero, me compraré una casa grande / Cuando cumplas 18 años te compraré una moto.

Significados del adjetivo GRANDE

El adjetivo GRANDE tiene un significado diferente en español, dependiendo de si va antes o después del sustantivo al que acompaña: «Un GRAN chico» —> Significa buena calidad: «A great boy» «Un chico GRANDE» —> Significa tamaño: «A big boy»

Tomar el pelo

En esta ocasión os queremos explicar el significado de la expresión en español «tomar el pelo». Sinónimos de la expresión «Tomar el pelo»: chancear, guasearse, mofarse, pitorrearse, cachondearse, burlarse, chacotear, bufonear, chirigotear, rechiflarse, coñearse, chasquear, chufletear, reírse, chunguearse…

Presente de subjuntivo: deseos

Para expresar deseos en español, utilizamos el presente de subjuntivo. ¿Quieres saber cómo se utiliza? El presente de subjuntivo es una de las formas verbales que más os cuesta a los estudiantes de español. No porque sea una forma muy complicada o tenga muchos verbos irregulares, sino porque su uso, a veces, puede resultar bastante confuso. Pero, hay uno de estos usos que no se os olvidará nunca, y es el de expresar deseos: Quiero que + PRESENTE DE SUBJUNTIVO Deseo que + PRESENTE DE SUBJUNTIVO Espero que + PRESENTE DE SUBJUNTIVO Ojalá (que) + PRESENTE DE SUBJUNTIVO Por ejemplo: Quiero que vengas a mi fiesta de cumpleaños. Espero que no llueva esta tarde, así podremos salir de compras.

Zeer goede en leuke school Samen met mijn echtgenoot 1 week intensief Spaanse les gevolgd. Alles goed geregeld, modern lesmateriaal en prettige manier van (interactief) lesgeven. Fijne school voor jong en ‘oud’! Hoewel wij veelal niet deelnamen aan de activiteiten zijn ze erg leuk, zeker voor jongeren! Deze school is echt een aanrader!

I love Taronja and could not have asked for a better overall experience. I have a friendly recommendation for the school. I think the professors should provide more evaluative comments to students after the week of classes especially for students who stay more than one week. I would like to know: How am I doing? What do I need to work on? What advice do you have for me to practice out of class? This need not be summative or extensive possibly just a few minutes. This could be optional for the students who would like the feedback.

Really impressed with the friendly and inclusive school vibe and the standard of the lessons. They were very attentive to students of all ages. The school facilities provided all the needs of the students to a high standard with areas to relax in comfort, study and resources for use in class and independent learning. During my week long taster I was able to attend 3 evening social events that were great fun and very reasonably priced. I will definitely return later this year for an extended period of time to develop my Spanish further.

I did a Spanish course in Taronja for one week and I loved it. In particular I appreciated the interactive way and the discussions that were promoted within the classmates to learn and talk. The activities organized by the school were also great (thanks again Nando for the fantastic paella class!). Last but not least, Valencia is a beautiful city and perfect to learn Spanish also outside of the school!
