En español tenemos muchas expresiones relacionadas con los cinco sentidos. En esta lección os enseñamos el sentido del olfato. 

Expresiones en español con CAÑA

La “caña” es el tallo de un tipo de planta (gramíneas): es alargado y hueco por dentro, como la del bambú; aunque la palabra “caña” también tiene otros significados… ¡UNA CAÑA POR FAVOR!  ¡NO, MEJOR DOS!Cuando en España vamos a un bar y queremos una cerveza podemos pedirla en botella o bote, pero también tenemos la opción de pedir un vaso de cerveza: pedimos “una caña”. ME HE COMPRADO UNAS BOTAS DE CAÑA ALTA EN LAS REBAJAS   También utilizamos “caña” cuando hablamos de botas: si llegan hasta la rodilla son botas “de caña alta”, y si solo llegan hasta la mitad de la pierna son botas de “media caña”. ¡DALE CAÑA!    También tenemos la expresión “dar caña” o “meter caña”, que significa <<aumentar la velocidad cuando haces algo, darse prisa>> : Si no te das caña no podrás acabar el trabajo.Aunque también puede significar <<hablar mal de alguien>>. ¡QUÉ CAÑA!   Y una de las más importantes: cuando queremos expresar nuestra admiración o sorpresa por algo, decimos “¡Qué caña!” Así que ya sabéis, tenemos «caña» para todos. Pasad un buen día : ))

I would highly recommend this language school, with its competent teachers who are innovative and interested in their students. The material used is always of an excellent standard. The school has two bright buildings and there is a calendar of events each week both for students attending and those taking classes online.

Wunderbare Schule und tolle Erfahrung! Ich war zwei Wochen in Taronja und kann die Schule nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Die Leser sind alle sehr gut und sympathisch, der Unterricht ist sehr interaktiv und digital und man lernt sehr viel in kurzer Zeit. Die Schule organisiert unter der Woche und am Wochenende zahlreiche Freizeitaktivitäten, bei denen man Spanisch übt, die Umgebung entdecken kann und viele unvergessliche Momente erlebt.

4 weken Spaans cursus bij Taronja De Taronja school is een leuk, kleurrijk gebouw, gelegen in het centrum van Valencia. De lessen zijn interessant en productief en de leraren zijn behulpzaam en wat me opviel, erg jong. De lesmethode die Taronja gebruikt beviel me zeer en is voor mij een van de redenen om binnenkort terug te gaan. De activiteiten die elke week gepland worden rondom de lessen zorgen ervoor dat je meer te weten komt over de Spaanse cultuur en helpen mee aan je ontwikkeling in de Spaanse taal. Na vier weken 20 uur per week les te hebben gehad en aan een groot deel van de activiteiten deel genomen te hebben heb ik een zekere basis Spaans opgebouwd en heeft me alleen maar gemotiveerd om er beter in te worden. De accommodaties die de school aanbiedt zijn centraal gelegen en op loopafstand van de school en omringd door genoeg restaurants om je 's avonds te redden. Taronja wil ik zeker aanraden aan iedereen die niet alleen Spaans wil leren maar daarnaast een geweldige tijd wil beleven in Valencia.

A very enjoyable place to learn Spanish I have just finished a two week intensive course at Escuela Taronja and am already missing it. I am at an early intermediate level and the experience of the last two weeks have boosted my confidence and stretched my knowledge so much. I was a little intimidated by the idea of being middle aged and out of my comfort zone but the school is so supportive, inclusive all all ages and quick to ensure that you are in a class at the right level. I would encourage anyone going to the school to jump in with both feet and take up all the various social opportunities that are on offer,,they were great fun and I met some new friends that I hope to

I love this school! During my seven weeks at Taronja I’ve learned a lot (I hope I’ll remember all those verbos irregulares!). The lessons were very well organized, easy to understand and highly communicative, so even with my basic level of Spanish I could participate in all discussions and do the tasks. The teachers and the staff are great: young, friendly, creative and ready to help with everything! Most of the students are under 30, but there are a lot of learners over 45-50 like me, so I felt absolutely comfortable. We really had fun together at different events and activities, organized by the school every week: parties, excursions, dancing and cooking masterclasses or just picnics in the park. Valencia is a great place to visit and Taronja is the right place to study Spanish there!

The best school experience i ever had! Everybody was friendly, the classes were a lot of fun and the learning curve was incredible. The social activities were super fun (friends of mine stayed at another school and they were always jealous) and very good to get to know all other students, Valencia and Spanish traditions. Paella fiesta every Tuesday is one of the best! ¡Me voy a Volver!
