Diferencias entre LLEVAR y TRAER

Los verbos «llevar» y «traer» se refieren a “mover a una persona o a una cosa de un sitio a otro”. Para explicaros la diferencia entre uno y otro vamos a hacerlo pensando en cómo nos relacionamos con el espacio que nos rodea, si nos acercamos a o nos alejamos de los objetos o personas de las que hablamos y dónde nos situamos. ¿Preparados? Ahí va: LLEVAR: Conducir algo desde el lugar en el que se encuentra o se sitúa mentalmente el hablante a otro lugar que está alejado. Se usa con el adverbio de lugar ALLÍ.

Pequeño truco: MUÉVETE o IMAGINA que te mueves/desplazas al lugar del que estás hablando para “llevar” algo/a alguien. (O que lo hace el sujeto de la acción)

    •  María, tienes que llevar estos zapatos allí. No puedes dejarlos en el suelo, guárdalos en la caja roja que está en la otra habitación.  (MARÍA SE MUEVE PARA LLEVAR LOS ZAPATOS A LA OTRA HABITACIÓN)
    •  ¿Puedes llevar a Carla a la escuela hoy? Ya es tarde y yo no puedo. (TE PIDE QUE TE MUEVAS PARA LLEVAR A LA NIÑA A LA ESCUELA)
TRAER: Conducir o trasladar algo al lugar en donde se habla o de que se habla. Se usa con el adverbio de lugar AQUÍ.

Pequeño truco: NO TE MUEVAS o IMAGINA que NO te mueves/NI desplazas: ese “algo” o ese “alguien” viene a donde estás tú (o el sujeto al que nos referimos)

  • ¿Puedes traerme los libros aquí, por favor? Así me los puedo leer en cuanto acabe de hacer este trabajo. (YO NO ME MUEVO, EL LIBRO VIENE A MÍ)
  • Si vienes a la fiesta trae a tu hermana a la fiesta que seguro que se lo pasa muy bien con nosotros. (YO NO ME MUEVO, LA HERMANA DE MI AMIGO ES LA QUE SE MUEVE PARA VENIR A LA FIESTA)
Y ahora te lo ponemos un poquito más difícil… Te dejamos otro ejemplo, en el que se utilizan los dos verbos a la vez. Ejemplo: La situación de esta conversación es la siguiente: Ana está en su casa y habla por teléfono con su amiga, María. -Hola, María. Esta noche celebro mi cumpleaños. Hago una cena en mi casa y me gustaría invitarte. -Claro Ana, me encantará ir ¿a qué hora es? -A las ocho y media. -¿LLEVO algo? ¿Comida, vino? – Bueno no es necesario, pero si quieres… ¡vale! TRAE algo de beber, vino o cerveza me parece bien. Esperamos que a partir de ahora os quede claro cuándo usar el verbo «traer» y cuándo usar el verbo «llevar». Buena semana a todos ; )

Taronja is a great Spanish school and also great fun! I have been to Taronja twice before, both times for 2 weeks of their intensive course. The course is for 20 lessons a week, over 4 hours each day Monday to Friday and there are also lots of cultural and social activities run by the school for students, normally without extra charges. These include cooking presentations at the school, cultural walks, lessons off-site at interesting locations, group outings to restaurants, bars and other attractions and cultural presentations at lunch-times as well as the weekly paella party for current and past students.
Teaching is done in small groups (6-10) of people with a similar level of Spanish and is done in a creative way and all in Spanish. As well as following a broad curriculum and working towards the standard learning levels, the lessons include a lot of fun activities and all sorts of diversions into exploring Spanish language and culture.
I can recommend this school very highly and Valencia is a beautiful city well-worth exploring. It is especially good during the Las Fallas festival 15-19 March each year and I will be returning to Taronja again this year 2019 to see it.

Beeindruckend! Ich bin wirklich beeindruckt von dieser Sprachschule!
Sehr gut ausgebildete, sympathische, junge Lehrer, die auf unser Sprachniveau gut eingehen, geduldig und humorvoll sind und jeden im Kurs (wir sind 9 SchülerInnen) auch "zwingen", zu sprechen, ganz wesentlich für mich!
S. hat uns sogar mit seiner perfekt gespielten Gitarre ein Lied gesungen - im Text mussten wir die fehlenden Verben in der richtigen Zeit einsetzen und durften dann mit ihm nochmal gemeinsam singen - also auch einige Talente gibt es hier! 🙂
Die Lernmethode ist intensiv, anders und im richtigen Maß, um schnell Fortschritte zu machen.
Die Schule, die Korrespondenz mit ihr, die Informationen, die wir bekommen, die Organisation generell ist super strukturiert und durchorganisiert - estupendo! Noch nie in dieser Weise erlebt!
Ja, und sogar auf meine Reklamationen bezüglich meines Appartements (einige!), in dem ich hier lebe, geht man geduldig und liebevoll ein und es ändert sich auch was!
Freue mich schon auf die zweite Woche und auf weitere Lernerfolge hier!

I am student who just finished high school and decided to take a gap year and learn a language. One of my friends was in Taronja School last year for 3 months and she loved it, so she recommended me to spend some time there in Valencia. I spent 6 months in the school and had one of the best times of my life. I arrived with a very low spanish level, and weeks after weeks, I could see my progress. Later in October, I felt confortable enough with my spanish to take the DELE-B2 preparation lessons at the school as well. Coming to Valencia, I never thought I would improve that fast. Even more, the teachers are very nice and pay attention to every student in the class. Finally, what makes the school also so special are the activities, they make it very easy to meet other students and make friends as soon as you arrive. I definitely wanna come back again!

I had an absolutely amazing time at Taronja!! I loved my four weeks here (May-June 2019)! I felt that I managed to learn loads in the short time that I was here - the school was very professional and organised, providing lots of excellent resources to aid learning! The lessons were very interactive and always lots of fun - loads of opportunities to practise speaking! Also, the social side was superb - every day there was at least one optional social activity organised, often more! I would love to return one day in the future! A big thank you to all the amazing people here! 🙂

I love Taronja and could not have asked for a better overall experience. I have a friendly recommendation for the school. I think the professors should provide more evaluative comments to students after the week of classes especially for students who stay more than one week. I would like to know: How am I doing? What do I need to work on? What advice do you have for me to practice out of class? This need not be summative or extensive possibly just a few minutes. This could be optional for the students who would like the feedback.

Did a week here as part of my trip around España in November 2019. This was a very good experience. It is true what people say about this place, it is more than just a Language school, it is a full immersion trip into Spanish culture.
I very much enjoyed my time here and met some proper tidy folks. my only problem was that i couldn't spend a 2nd week here due to timings. Because of this, i feel i missed out on a lot of the extra activities due to the zig zag schedule and not being present for the switch-round in the 2nd week.
All in all though this was excellent and well worth the money. a 2nd trip is definitely on the cards for 2020 for at least 2-3 weeks. Tengo que volver a Valencia pronto!!!
