El modo imperativo en español

El modo imperativo se utiliza para dar ordenes, instrucciones o consejos. En español no se puede decir UN OTRO

Un error muy frecuente entre los estudiantes de español es decir UN OTRO. Con esta explicación no volveréis a cometerlo.  En español, delante del adjetivo OTRO, OTRA, OTROS, OTRAS nunca podemos poner en artículo indefinido (un, una, unos, unas). Este es un error que todos los estudiantes de español cometéis con mucha frecuencia y que  debéis corregir, porque suena muy mal. NO decimos: Dame un otro mapa; decimos: Dame otro mapa, que es la manera correcta. Aprovechamos, también, para recordar que la palabra MAPA es masculina y que, por lo tanto, es el mapa y no la mapa.

Expresiones en español con HOMBRE

La escuela de español Taronja os explica algunas expresiones con la palabra «hombre». La palabra «hombre», en España, no sólo sirve para hacer referencia a un individuo adulto del sexo masculino, sino que en muchas expresiones se utiliza para reforzar diferentes significados. Si estamos hablando con una mujer, podemos sustituir la palabra «hombre» por «mujer». Aunque no es raro que escuchéis las expresiones con «hombre» para dirigirse a mujeres. ¡Esperamos que os guste!

Great experience !! The teachers are very dynamic, smiling and think of fun ways to teach us Spanish. The school is very active and offers many extra-curricular activities and excursions. The shared apartment was comfortable enough, clean and close to the school, which is located in the city center. I would love to go back to Taronja soon 😊.

Also I think a week is too short as most other students were there for much longer but that was not possible for me Since returning back to my weekly class on Zoom, I am speaking much better so thank you ! The best spanish school you can find in Valencia : Lessons are formative and never boring, The school offers a weekly and always different programme of cultural and leisure activities that are very helpful to practice the language, discover the Spanish and Valencian culture and make new friends. Teachers are competent and very friendly, they will make you feel like in a family and soon they will become your friends! Personally i stayed 3 months in this school and not only i learned spanish, but i have shared lovely moments with great people i will always remember with affection. This is a really good school for learning spanish and its great for all agegroups. They also organize a lot of fun and intresting events/excursions outside school so you can meet people and practise your spanish. I recommend it! 🌞

It‘s my second week at Taronja Spanish School and I absolutely love it. The teachers and students are all very likeable and it’s easy to get to know new people. The classes are great because the focus is on the speaking but they still teach grammar just in a more interesting way. Also the activities are awesome. They are all different so everyone finds something they like. All students are in a good mood and enjoying Valencia.

As a retired teacher (university) I was very impressed with the techniques used by the instructors. The classes are engaging; the teachers are motivating and supportive. I enjoyed the diversity of students in the classroom ( countries and ages). At the beginning of each week learning outcomes are presented. Then each class starts with a review of the days learning outcomes and ends with a recap of achievements-- theory, activities, and new words. Each class offers ample opportunities to practice new skills with a wide range of activities. Everyone has numerous chances to speak in every class with carefully crafted activities that are inclusive and fun. The small group size adds to the comfort for those of us who are intimidated with learning new skills.
Classes are pitched at each student's level based on a written assessment. However, during the morning of the first class each person can assess how comfortable they are with the material. They can then move to a higher or lower level class that will more closely meet their personal learning needs.
The school also offers a wide range of activities which further engages learners with more ways to practice language skills as well as to learn about the culture of Spain. I will do another post about my decision to study in Valencia
