PRETÉRITO PERFECTO Usamos el «Pretérito Perfecto» cuando hablamos de acciones o cosas relacionadas con el presente: el día, la semana, el mes, la Navidad. Por ejemplo: He trabajado mucho esta semana / I have worked a lot this week. «Esta semana», todavía no ha acabado la semana. PRETÉRITO INDEFINIDO Usamos el «Indefinido» cuando no estamos hablando de acciones o cosas relacionadas con el presente: un día, una semana, un mes, una Navidad, en 1984, esa vez, ayer. (La información no está relacionada con el presente. Se termina) Algunas palabras que nos indican el uso del «Pretérito Perfecto» son: Hoy. A las 4, a las 6.Esta mañana, Esta tarde, Esta semana.Este mes, Este año.Este invierno, Este otoño.Todavía no, aun no, ya.Hasta ahora.En mi vida.Nunca.Por fin.Siempre.¿Alguna vez? / ¿Cuántas veces? The common signal words that indicate the “Indefinido” are: Ayer, Anteayer. El otro día.Anoche, Anteanoche.La semana pasada.El mes, el año pasado.En + año/mes.Hace+ cantidad de tiempo + que + indefinido.

Adjetivos que cambian de significado

En español hay algunos adjetivos que cambian su significado si acompañan al verbo SER o al verbo ESTAR. ¿Quieres aprender algunos? -LISTO: Ser listo = inteligente (clever) Estar listo = preparado (ready) -FRESCO: Ser fresco = sin vergüenza (shameless) Estar fresco = del día (fresh) -MALO: Ser malo = malvado (evil) Estar malo = enfermo (ill) -BUENO: Ser bueno = portarse bien (to be nice) Estar bueno = ser atractivo (to be hot)

I’ve studied at Taronja in Valencia for almost 3 weeks now and I already don’t want to leave. The teachers are nice and I felt really welcomed since I first stepped trough the schools doors! Outside of school there are activities organised by the school almost everyday. So don’t bring too many books with you, there will be enough to do here 😉

Taronja Ich habe im September einen vierwöchigen Sprachaufenthalt in Valencia an der Taronja Sprachschule verbracht. Es war nicht mein erster Besuch an einer Sprachschule und ich muss wirklich zugeben, dass es vom Lernniveau bisher die beste war. Die Lehrer sind alle studierte Sprachwissenschaftlicher, aber trotzdem nicht älter als 35, sprechen meistens mehr als 3-4 Sprachen fliesend, setzen sich aktiv mit den Schülern auseinander und das innerhalb sowie außerhalb der Stunden. Die nicht nach einem Buch oder Lehrplan ausgerichtete Lernmethode ist wirklich unfassbar effektiv und man macht innerhalb kürzester Zeit erhebliche Fortschritte.
Auch außerhalb der Schulstunden probiert die Schule das Rundumsorglospaket zu ermöglichen, jeden Tag andere Aktivitäten, kulturell sowie interaktiv und damit meine ich nicht dieses typische get-together in einer Bar und fertig, sondern wirklich coole Aktivitäten zu unschlagbar günstigen Preisen.
Insgesamt kann ich nur jedem empfehlen sich für diese Schule zu entscheiden.

I would like to thank everyone for the experience! I really needed to improve the grammar, and I think this school was the first one where I could really feel some improvement (even though I was there for only two weeks). And they have many nice activities, so, you'll always have interesting options for how to spend your time outside the classroom. Another nice thing about the school is that they change the time of your classes during the high season (which is summer), so, you'll be able to have mornings and evenings free depending on the day. You also get to have classes with different teachers, cause they change every week, and then during one week you'll have two different ones. So, that's good too. Nice school! Definitely worth considering if you are thinking of learning Spanish in Valencia.

Taronja is a great Spanish school and also great fun! I have been to Taronja twice before, both times for 2 weeks of their intensive course. The course is for 20 lessons a week, over 4 hours each day Monday to Friday and there are also lots of cultural and social activities run by the school for students, normally without extra charges. These include cooking presentations at the school, cultural walks, lessons off-site at interesting locations, group outings to restaurants, bars and other attractions and cultural presentations at lunch-times as well as the weekly paella party for current and past students.
Teaching is done in small groups (6-10) of people with a similar level of Spanish and is done in a creative way and all in Spanish. As well as following a broad curriculum and working towards the standard learning levels, the lessons include a lot of fun activities and all sorts of diversions into exploring Spanish language and culture.
I can recommend this school very highly and Valencia is a beautiful city well-worth exploring. It is especially good during the Las Fallas festival 15-19 March each year and I will be returning to Taronja again this year 2019 to see it.

Finally I totally recommend Taronja in Valencia!
I have learned a lot en espagñol!
Before my course I could speak nada, but afterwards not directly fluently, but I can talk with people and friends now de España, who I met here during my stay and of participating on actividades de escuela.
Everybody is very polite and open for questions, especially about espagñol 🙂
Summary I would choose this escuela otra vez!

I had such an amazing time learning spanish at Taronja! I learned a new language but I also learned lots of tricks and methods to be a better language teacher myself. Muchas gracias!!!
